Work: fixing, scaling, and automating operations

Shaun Patrick Stewart works with fabrication and manufacturing businesses that are busy but not profitable enough, growing but drowning in rework, or stuck because the owner still has to be on site for anything to happen. The work covers three areas that usually break together and have to be fixed together.

Three ways I help

Turnaround and scaling

Restructure the shop, office, sales, and installation so output rises and remakes fall. Track record: 2–3× weekly production at three companies, ~70% fewer daily reworks, and one company restored from bankruptcy to steady profit.

CNC and automation

Bring idle CNC machines back online, convert hand fabrication to a fully machined process, and turn job-management software (including Moraware) into a system that assigns everyone’s day automatically.

Sales and growth

Build a consultative, first-visit-close sales process, hire and coach the team, and grow accounts in step with capacity so new work doesn’t break the shop.

Who this is for

  • Owners of countertop, stone, solid-surface, cabinet, and similar fabrication shops
  • Kitchen and bath and remodeling companies that manage their own fabrication or installs
  • Light manufacturers with CNC equipment that’s under-used or unreliable

How an engagement works

  1. Walk the operation. A call first, then time on your floor and in your office. I follow jobs from quote to install and count where they stall.
  2. Name the real problems. A short written findings list: what’s costing money, in what order to fix it, and what each fix should return.
  3. Fix it with your people. Procedures, templates, machine programs, and software changes, built with your team so they stick after I leave.
  4. Hand it back running. The measure of success is a business that runs without the owner or me standing over it.

Every engagement is scoped after the first call, around the problem you actually have.

Where I work in Florida

I’m based in Orlando and work statewide.

  • Consulting: Tampa, Orlando, and Sarasota
  • Companies I built and run: Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Sarasota, and Fort Myers
  • Where I started: born in Fort Myers, raised in North Fort Myers, career began in Tampa (2002–2011)

I take on work anywhere in Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, and the rest of South Florida. First calls happen by video, so location is never a barrier to finding out if I can help.

Now: AI agent harness and autonomous engineering

Before AI, Shaun automated how businesses run, including turning Moraware into a system that hands every employee their day. In 2025 he took that approach into a custom AI agent harness for autonomous system and software engineering, and now uses it to build software products and systems from scratch.
